AFRICA
Aids Care and Treatment ministry, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Project #90499 AIDS is a disease that is ravaging the continent of Africa. In Ethiopia MTW missionaries lead by Andy Warren are partnering with the government of Ethiopia and local churches to fight this scourge in the name of Jesus. They help distribute anti-retrovirals, provide counseling, organize support groups and Bible studies and preach the Gospel.
Westminster Theological College & Seminary, Kampala, Uganda Project #95931  The biggest bottleneck in the advancement of the Kingdom of God in Africa is the lack of trained leadership. Westminster Theological College equips Christian workers throughout the continent. The price of a roundtrip airfare from the U.S. to Uganda could provide a full (3-year) scholarship for a promising student and reap eternal dividends.
SOUTHERN AFRICA
Southern Africa Regional Scholarship Fund, Southern Africa Region, Project #95931 The church in Africa is growing quickly and so is the need for trained church leaders. The Southern Africa regional scholarship fund is used to assist students preparing for Christian ministry. We particularly look for students who have the support and encouragement of their home church and who have indicated agreement with our doctrinal commitments.
Phoenix Church Property, Durban, South Africa Project #95118  The Christian Reformed Church of South Africa has a congregation in the section of the city of Durban, South Africa known as Phoenix. The community is predominately people of Indian ethnic heritage and the church reflects that context. The congregation currently meets in a school room but is raising funds to find a property of their own where they can meet for worship and use as a base for ministry in the community.
ASIA PACIFIC
Philippines Church Project #94804  Three to six new church planting works are started each year. Donors and prayer supporters are needed for individual church planting pastors Philippines Manila StreetChild Ctr Operations Project #94806  75 former street children live in the residential homes and another 50 who are still on the streets receive education and food. Almost all children come to know Christ during their time in the homes.
Bangladesh Ministry to Unreached Tribes Project #90752  About 3000 people from formerly unreached tribes have come to Christ through this ministry in the last six years. More than 25 churches have been developed in the villages of five unreached people groups. Help support the 32 national missionaries, the leaders of this ministry, and various training programs.
CARRIBEAN
Ministry Center In La Ceiba, Honduras Project #92412  This facility will be in the center of downtown La Ceiba, Honduras. It will be a one-stop center for all of MTW's ministry needs in the area. We anticipate having a school, medical clinic, seminary, street children's drop in center and a dorm for short-term missionaries. This facility will be located in the geographic center of a vibrant, highly unsaved, poverty stricken community.
EUROPE
Germany: Prenzlauer Berg Church Planting Partner Project #92010  The team in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, Germany is seeking to partially fund church planter/pastor Michael Strub, a former East German, as together we seek to establish a Gospel-oriented church and family center to reach the Prenzlauer Berg district of former East Berlin, an atheistic stronghold (c. 88%).
ERSU Seminary, Kiev, UkraineProject #95995  Besides the 40 pastors training in Ukraine, there is a growing demand for Reformed education in surrounding nations (Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus). ERSU is preparing online courses in Russian to meet this opportunity. Your gifts are greatly needed for the unexpected ministry God has opened across the Russian-speaking world.
MEXICO
Andres Garza, national church leader Project #93803  Key to the future health of Church planting efforts at Mission to the World are National Church Movement leaders. Andres Garza serves as team leader in Monterrey Mexico. Andres oversees more then ten church plants, a seminary, mercy outreach, and summer teams. In the last three years two churches have come to the place where not only are they self sustaining, but they are also working toward starting daughter congregations. It is very encouraging to see the beginnings of this movement in Northeast Mexico.
National Autonomous University of Mexico (RUF) Project #93888  God is at work at among the nearly 200,000 students of the UNAM in Mexico City. Through the first international chapter of Reformed University Fellowship, God is reaching and equipping the next generation to serve as members and leaders in the church and kingdom of Christ. Persian Internet Seminary Project #94288  God is working dramatically, drawing Persians to Christ in Iran and around the world. We are developing a virtual seminary to meet the urgent need for training for Farsi-speaking Christian leaders who might otherwise be cut off from solid Biblical teaching from a Reformed perspective.
East Asia Silk Road Center Project #90926  The Silk Road Center will connect newly developing Asian mission programs to cross-cultural training, language learning resources, and relational networks in the countries they plan to target. The center will be a collaborative effort of our mission, Asian missions, as well as many national partners from Muslim background areas .
Central Asia Reformed Biblical SeminaryProject #95941  The seminary started at the request of local fellowships to train national pastors and leaders in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. Where Islam and years of state-sponsored atheism work against the church, sound training from a Reformed perspective helps students defend and build the kingdom. Current enrollment is 35 students.
